Severe thunderstorms flooded deep inland areas on Saturday, triggering flash flood warnings for parts of Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties. Heavy rains and thunderstorm activity in central and eastern Wisconsin caused flooding, prompting a flash flood warning for parts of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and the Milwaukee region. Flash floods were reported when 1.5 inches of rain fell in a short period of time, according to the National Weather Service.
